Hi, there… I’m Shariful.
Welcome to He Travels Solo. A website obsessed with helping travelers become independent.
I started traveling solo at the age of 20, when I dropped out of college and decided to travel to Tokyo, Japan (my first solo trip).
Since then I’ve been traveling full-time for a little over 5 years and visited 19 countries (so far).
The more I traveled the more I fell in love with solo travel and the freedom and spontaneity it offered. (Imagine not being tied to someone else’s whims and itineraries)
Hence, the reason for creating this website to share all I know about solo travel with other fellow travelers and make them independent.
